One of my favorite scenes in #StarTrek is in the Original Series episode, Charlie X. Many of the crewmen are hanging out in the rec room; Spock is playing a song on his lyre; Uhura decides to start making up a song about him.
It's such a simple scene of a bunch of friends just hanging out.
None of the other series really have any scenes like this, and I think that's a shame.

@danjones000 What about TNG/Picard poker scenes? Close in spirit, perhaps?
They're definitely close. One thing that's better about TOS's rec room scenes are bridge crew and lower deckers mingling and hanging out together.
TNG has Ten Forward, which, I think is the closest. DS9 has Quark's.
These are definitely similar, but don't really approach the same feel, I think.

@danjones000 The old Constitution class didn't have much spaces for after-work activities.
