Husband, Father, Software Engineer (PHP, go, etc.). Lover of Star Trek and anime.
Looking for other things to do, such as writing, acting, voice acting, but not really finding the time for it. Maybe when my kids are a little older, I'll get back on stage.

Very mild spoilers for first episode of Star Trek: Khan
Very mild spoilers for first episode of Star Trek: Khan
The story is pretty interesting. It's a framing story. The outer story involves Captain Sulu taking the Excelsior on a mission to Ceti Alpha V with a historian in tow to find and catalog logs from Khan's colony there. He assigns Ensign Tuvok to accompany her to the surface.
The inner story is the story from the logs, chronicling the events of the colony. The actors who play Khan and McGivers do justice to the actors who originated the roles.
It's definitely trying to give a different look at Khan, explaining what drove him to do what he did, both in the 20th (or 21st, depending on your perspective) and 23rd centuries.
I can't wait for the next episode.
I listened to the first episode of the new Star Trek: Khan podcast, and I'm really loving it so far. If was awesome to hear @[email protected] and Tim Russ as Sulu and Tuvok again. The story is promising.
