I think if you play it too much, there is a high chance you will end up damaging your foldable phone. So play on your own risk!
@nixCraft probably the worst way to play I've seen but I doubt folding like that would damage the device.
That was my thought. Sure-fire way to wear out the hinge.

I've never been very comfortable with the idea of foldable screens... They have a limited lifetime out of the box by their very definition...
