How long after the DS9 finale is this set? Has he completely missed his second child growing up?

@danjones000 @sentience about 18 months (iirc), so Sisko has a new baby. It has been marginally sidelined but I suspect it will form a bigger aspect later on...
That's good.
The ending of DS9 really bothered me, because the whole series, we saw what a great father he was to Jake, and then suddenly he decides to abandon his new baby to play with the Prophets.
It never sat well with me.
He missed the pregnancy, which is still pretty bad, but if the baby isn't even a year old, that's not so bad.
I have not kept up with the #StarTrek comics the last few years. Have they given an explanation for how Sisko returned to normal life after being a god?
