I really want to watch new episodes of Star Trek on Paramount+, to support the show and ensure Paramount gets good viewing numbers.

But it is the most unstable streaming app on my TV. I can't watch a single episode of anything without the episode just randomly quitting, and sometimes the entire app crashing, often within seconds of an episode starting. Sometimes, I have to go back in and continue the episode three or four times to watch an entire episode.

This is definitely one of the reasons people pirate shows they want to watch. Paramount should just leave the streaming to Netflix and Hulu and license their shows to stream on one of those.

@danjones000 I hate Paramount+ exactly for this. In my case I think the issue is the ads. Episodes always play fine with good quality, but things get very squirrelly when it begins to play ads. Whatever software they're using to serve the ads is pure crap.
