I just looked at my web server logs.
For the past two days, there were 1382 requests made to any of the (public-facing) servers running on my home computer. This includes this site, a Forgejo instance, a Jellyfin instance, and a couple other things.
That's not a lot, and I figured most of those requests were ActivityPub requests to this site.
But, I checked how many of the requests were made by the ClaudeBot (Anthropic's spider which is sucking up content for the Claude LLM). 1169 of them: roughly 85%. All of them gobbling up code from my forgejo instance.
Worst part is that it wasn't even reading any of my code. Just a couple mirrors I had hosted there.
A bunch of nonsense.
