Well, the newest version of (39) has been out for two months now, so I guess it's finally time for me to upgrade. So today is Upgrade Day, which means my main computer is mostly out of commission while the upgrade finishes.

Just saw a cyber truck in person in my church's parking lot. Haven't figured out who owns it, but the date on the temporary license plate show it was bought a few days ago.

It looks as ridiculous in person as it does in the pictures. It looks like Elon handed Æ a piece of paper and told him to draw a truck, and that was the design.

Also noticed that when I got within a few inches of it, the display lit up saying "Sentry Activated. Recording."

So, apparently it just records everyone that gets near it, just in case someone tries to steal it, I guess.

At church today, the choir sang a lovely arrangement of The First Noel to the tune of Pachelbel's Canon. It really was quite beautiful, but I can't hear Canon without thinking of Pachelbel Rant.

So, while they're singing, I'm singing along under my voice with "when I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me, no woman no cry. We will still be, friends forever."

I got a computer for my kids for Christmas. I've been setting it up for them, and they really like playing retro games. So, in addition to RetroArch and a bunch of old console games, I also installed @[email protected] with a handful of adventure games that I've loved since I was a kid (Monkey Island, King's Quest, Maniac Mansion).

I'm looking for suggestions for other ScummVM compatible games that adventurous kids might like that may be less well known.

Any point and click adventure games you played as a kid that you could recommend?
