I got a computer for my kids for Christmas. I've been setting it up for them, and they really like playing retro games. So, in addition to RetroArch and a bunch of old console games, I also installed @[email protected] with a handful of adventure games that I've loved since I was a kid (Monkey Island, King's Quest, Maniac Mansion).
I'm looking for suggestions for other ScummVM compatible games that adventurous kids might like that may be less well known.
Any point and click adventure games you played as a kid that you could recommend?

@danjones000 @scummvm Besides King's Quest, also check out Quest for Glory from Sierra. Amazing games really. 4 is the best, but it may be a bit unstable in ScummVM still.
A great adventure game you may have missed that works would be Return to Zork. Great game all around with good humor.
Curiously enough ScummVM supports Lands of Lore. Not the typical thing you'd associate with it, but it actually works. Good "dungeon crawler" style game. Eye of the Beholder and Dungeon Hack also work.
Interesting. Not quite the usual point and click adventure.
Now that I'm looking, I see other RPGs supported, including three of the Ultima games. I spent so much time playing Ultima IV as a kid.
@danjones000 @scummvm Yeah, there's a ton of stuff they have in ScummVM. It has far exceeded its original purpose.
They just recently added an engine used for games like The Dark Eye which ran on some sort of Macromedia player type thing. (I'm not necessarily recommending that one for kids. It depicts Edgar Allen Poe's darker works from both angles. Kids might be quite uncomfortable with the stuff in it, even if it is done in slightly simplified claymation on purpose.)
@danjones000 @scummvm How about Broken Sword, Beneath a Steel Sky, Discworld, Flight of the Amazon Queen, Indiana Jones 3 & 4, Legend of Kyrandia, Toonstruck, to name a few.
@danjones000 @scummvm The Neverhood is very unique! And Grim Fandango is well known but perhaps not immediately obvious as a Scumm game. I loved the Indiana Jones games, Sam & Max Hit the Road is wonderfully funny, The Dig is a super sci-fi story, Full Throttle is great, and then Cruise for a Corpse and James Bond: The Stealth Affair bring me fond memories!
